The progressive metal has many influence of classic rock , jazz and also blues.the main characteristics of this sub genre is that has many aggressive tone, has heavy amplified guitars. Particularly this style has many clean riffs and a lot of psycho melodic solo:ex John Petruci solos is 3-4 minutes. The vocals I can say it is clean with a lot clean screams.the drum kit plays the same paters.Last but not least the Guitar Bass is like does not exist ?????
