Melodic metal (melo-death)  it is a sub-genre of Death Metal.The origin of melo-death  is form Sweden and it is also knew as Gothenburg such as city in Sweden. The  characteristic of this genre it is that the guitars has melodic and harmonic riffs and solos. Also the hue  of the voice it is Brutal and many time it is like Alexi Laiho. Melo-Death bands:

Headbangers' Tribute #3: Black Sabbath

Next band for our blog is probably one of the most succesful and mostly historic bands, not only for metal, but for the entire rock field. Ladies and gentlemen, who has never heard of Black Sabbath? 

Along with Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin, Sabbath is considered to be the first Heavy Metal Band of all time, having actually formed the genre. Like most bands, the band members have changed several times over these 40+ years of existence.

Black Sabbath was firstly formed in 1967, but got their name two years later. The first members were:

Ozzy Osbourne

Active: 1969–1977, 1978–1979, 1985, 1997–present

Instruments: lead vocals

Occasional instruments: harmonica, synthesizer

Tony Iommi

.

Active: 1969–present

Instruments: lead guitar

Occasional instruments: piano, flute, acoustic guitar, keyboards, synthesizer, organ, mellotron

Geezer Butler

Active: 1969–1985, 1990–1994, 1997–present

Instruments: bass, synthesizers

Occasional instruments: mellotron

During these years, many other talented people joined the band, like 

Ronnie James Dio who replaced Ozzy from 1979 to 1982, the known as DIO YEARS, when Black Sabbath presented highly succesfull songs like Heaven And Hell, Neon Knights and others.

After 1982, Ian Gillan, the succesfull Deep Purple lead singer joined the band.

Headbangers' Tribute #2: System Of A Down

System of a down is an American rock band from Southern California Shaped in 1994 and currently consists of singer Serj Tankian ,guitarist Daron Malakian, bassist Shavo Odadjian and the drummer John Dolmayan.The name of this Band is know as S.O.A.D (System Of The Down).Also System of a down dissolved in the late of 2006 but after 4 years the band makes her reunion The best songs of S.O.A.D:

Headbangers' Tribute #1: Lamb of God

Lamb of God is a Groove American metal band from Richmond ,Virginia

Formed in 1990, the Band consists of vocalist Randy Blythe, guitarists Mark Morton and Willie Adler bassist John Campbell and drummer Chris Adler . The first name of this band was “Burn the Priest” but  in 2000 the name  was converted to “Lamb of God”. In my opinion L.O.G(Lamb Of God) is a very successful band and  the best songs for me is:

Progressive metal it is a sub genre of progressive rock and heavy metal, originated in the United Kingdom and the United States in the late 1980s.

Punk's not Dead! Ή τουλάχιστον έτσι φαίνεται, αφού στη Θεσσαλονίκη μία νέα Punk Rock μπάντα έκανε την αισθητή εμφάνισή της, με το κοινό της μεγαλώνει ραγδαία. Πρόκειται για την τετραμελή Πέμπτη Κάστα, που πλέον έχει και δικό της έργο.

Σίγουρα πρόκειται να μας απασχολήσει καθώς αναμένουμε πολλά.. Η νεοσύστατη μπάντα αποτελείται από τους Γιάννη (φωνή, κιθάρα), Pikas (κιθάρα, φωνητικά), Chris R. (μπάσο) και Αδάμ 77 (ντράμς, στίχοι).

Προς το παρόν πάρτε μια μικρή γεύση, με το νέο τραγούδι που ανέβηκε πρόσφατα στο Youtube, και επισκεφτείτε τη σελίδα της μπάντας στο facebook!
