Speed Metal

Being more extreme than heavy metal, Speed metal  made it's first apperance in the 70's with the New wave of british metal. Speed metal usually combaines really fast and melodic riffs, with  really powerfull solos  and highly expresive vocals witch wasn't similar to the harshs once, thrash contained. Usally speed metal bands are composed with a couple of guitarists a bass, a drumer and sometimes a key

R.I.P DIMMEBAG DARRELL

 Before 9 years (8/12/2004) one of the best American musician best known for being the founding member of the bands Pantera and Damageplan   killed onstage his name …Darrell Lance Abbott  (Dimmebag Darrell) he born at 20/8/1966.

PUNK ROCK

Punk rock is a rock music genre that developed between 1974 and 1976 mainly in the UK and the USA. Rooted in garage rock, other forms of what is now known as protopunk music and the early rock 'n' roll, punk rock bands eschewed perceived excesses of mainstream 1970s rock. Punk bands created fast, hard-edged music, typically with short songs, stripped-down instrumentation, and often political, anti-establishment lyrics. Punk embraces a DIY ethic; many bands self-produced recordings and distributed them through informal channels.
The term "punk" was first used in relation to rock music by some American critics in the early 1970s, to describe garage bands and their devotees. By late 1976, bands such as the Sex Pistols, The Clash and The Damned in London and Television and the Ramones in New York City were recognized as the vanguard of a new musical movement.

Heavy Metal

   Heavy Metal was a hole new music genre, developed in the late 60's and early 70's originated from UK and US. Having its roots in hard rock, heavy metal is characterized by highly amplified distortion , guitar solos , emphatic beats and heavy drum sounds. At its glorious start, people used to confuse it with hard rock and vise-versa.

Hard rock

Hard rock makes its first apperance back in the 60's in UK, writing a new page in music's history book. Hard rock, which  usually confused with heavy metal, was a combinasion of garage rock, blues rock and phycedelic rock

Rock'n'Roll

Rock'n'roll originates from US in the late 4o's and it become famous in the 40's. The music style during that period usually contained saxophones and piano sound, which later in the 50's replaced by electric guitars.

Από ένα μουσικό blog σαν κι αυτό, δεν θα μπορούσε να λείπει το Punk.
